Jean-Pierre Van Rossem caricatures

I made 2 caricatures of him in the course of a few years. The first time for myself, to practice. The 2nd time as an assignment for the Flemish children's newspaper 'Kits'.
Every time with pencil on drawing paper.

JP Van Rossem was a well-known Belgian stock market guru and businessman, writer, know-it-all, publicist and quarrelsome politician.
And convicted swindler! He became immeasurably rich with other people's money.

The mouse asks: "Bah, what stinks in here?"
J.P. Van Rossem (proud): "My money!"

I made this caricature for practice. Usually I work smaller than A4, but this time bigger (27 x 36 cm).
The original has already yellowed somewhat, as you can see.

Later, for the children's newspaper 'Kits', I drew him again.
The editor-in-chief came up with the joke:
"WANTED" overlaid with: "hairdresser and language teacher"
(for his rough appearance and coarse language)
